Are you tired of slow launchpad performance? Do you think that your Mac Graphic Render is not at full stuff? «That will change with this tutorial ∆ƒƒƒƒ – Full Acceleration QE/CI Here I show you how to setup a Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 Osx86 Intel Base System with the right tools and kexts. Do not worry about framerate sometimes goes down in some scenes on video~ I guess because the ScreenFlow.app slows a bit~ The realtime experience is more smooth and quickly that in video as a real Apple iMac System~ and the quality obviously is more impressive than this video H264 compilation. Ok so. The most important of this process to get the best result is the Gpu Power Management. On the web you can find many tutorials to get booting Mac OS X~ If you tried everything with the Gpu G-States 0 1 2 3 you gonna love this. Make sure you set your SMbios as iMac 12,2 and replace the AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext with the one I gave you on the tools file. Run KextUtility for kext permissions and restart~ The gpu will change between G-states 0 – 1 – 2 only when needed with no render bugs~ With this tutorial will not need anymore MacKeeper~ @Do not forget to install CUDA and NVIDIA drivers for Lion 10.7.3. Audio and Network drivers kexts depends on each system. @To install NVIDIA Drivers 270.00.00f01 you must set up your SMBios to MacPro 5.1~ If not the drivers will not recognize the system as compatible. Once installed turn back iMac 12,2 for Gpu Power Management best result. For those who …

Does this support GTS 250?
Is this running in VMWare?
Uhhmm. Will this work if I have duel GTX 580 in SLI?
I am being to picky
my dad’s macbook pro does the same slight jumpiness on larger folders as well. I guess the question on the thresholds still stands though?
Thanks for this awesome video! Quick question. This did improve performance for my two GTX 460′s quite a bit, although there still is slight lag on larger app folders in launchpad. I changed the Device ID correctly to Vendor10deDevice0e22, but should I also be changing the threshold numbers?
Thanks!
I congratulate you for your ivy bridge adquisition, you need additional support for ivy bridge with BridgeHelper 4.0.1
this tutorial is not full supported for ivy bridge

Thanks a lot bro, this made my mackintosh perfect!
Is the OSx86 version stable if your hardware is compatible? I’m using an ivy bridge 3570K and I’d like to give it a try. Thanks.
I have a GTX 570 I installed Lion 10.7.4 launchpad was smooth but when folders opened it lagged also I have no dock animations or blue highlights when mousing over menus :/ I haven’t done all this kext replacing stuff because I’m a noob :/
Nice video! I used to have a Windows 7 computer but I absolutely hated it so I went ahead and I bought an iMac. Keep up the good work!
I am on windows 7
Hi there. I have managed to get my gtx 570 working very well under Mac Pro 3,1 definition. Under iMac 12,2 it runs very slow. However, I have not replaced the power management kext. Am I right in thinking that if I replace the kext I can get equally as good performance under iMac 12,2 def as I currently do under Mac pro 3,1? I just don’t want to break anything! thx
Tried both smbios in the 5.1 and obteined a kernel panic and the 12.2 works very slow. It’s curious when I am in the 3.1 it works good, fast and very soft but after a few minutes I open the launchpad and it looks slow, I call many times the launchpad one time and another and it returns to its normal speed and after 2 minutes it becomes slow. I have 36.40 frames in cinebench. I dont know what could it be, I tried a little bit of everything.
