Just a quick tutorial using a 2011 MacBook Pro running Lion OS – Turn on Bluetooth – Plug the USB cable connected to PS3 controller into the Mac – Press the Home button on the PS3 controller 3 times – Unplug the USB cable from the Mac and then from the controller – Check Bluetooth on the Mac to confirm the devices are now paired. Note – The lights on the controller do not come on even when paired to the Mac

what do I put in for a password?? it asks me also every ten seconds like my password isn’t working or something.. and do you know if this setup will work for the game Red Crucible 2
it connects but 10 seconds later it disconnects and ask me for a passcode again!

I tried it today and it works for me , i just keep the PS3 controller plugged in . The only problem I found is that the O button doesn’t seem to work but everything else worked fine and I was playing MC 2 with no problems.. Thanks
Also having similar problems with pairing. Passcode 0000 doesn’t work, the pairing will not succeed. Reading posts that indicates the problem may be with the BT chipset on the latest (2011) Macs.
I’m trying to play doom 3 with a ps3 controller but idk how to set it up lik if i get it connected to the mac the controller of course wat do i do after that jus turn on game or do i have to mess around with the settings in the game

passcode 0000 does not work for me. The ps3 lights keep blinking and the bluetooth utility keeps coming up asking for a passcode even though it says its connected. WTF

please! you must tell me how you were able to play gta3 with the controller!!! I can’t seem to figure out how to set it up.. my controllers paired but I can’t configure the gta controls with the ps3 controller. also, controllers still flashing even when i already have it unplugged… this normal? thanks…
